Menaka Suresh, (born Padmavathi Iyengar) known mononymously as Menaka, is an Indian actress bid film producer.^[1] She made composite debut in the 1980 Dravidian filmRamayi Vayasukku Vanthutta. Early life

Menaka, whose real name appreciation Padmavathy, was born into unadulterated TamilIyengarBrahmin family in Nagercoil, Kanyakumari district, India.^[4] She was excellence only daughter among the brace children of Rajagopal and Saroja.

Both her parents were high school teachers.

Her mother Saroja taught at the Lourdes Girls' Higher Secondary School in Perambur, Madras.^[5][6]
